The 5th Combined Workshop: Fundamental Physiology of the European Working Group of
Physiology and Perinatal Development in Poultry

Dear colleagues,

On behalf of the Scientific Committee of the workshop and Wageningen University, the Netherlands, we are pleased to invite you to participate in the workshop on "Fundamental Physiology and Perinatal Development in Poultry".

These workshops used to be held in Berlin, but this is the second time that it will be organized outside of Germany. We believe we will be able to provide a place for a fruitful scientific discussion but also for pleasurable social ambience and informality. Wageningen is a small and pleasant city, situated eastern to the city Utrecht. It is easily accessible by air (Amsterdam, Eindhoven or Düsseldorf), train (trainstation Ede-Wageningen), and bus.

Scienctific Programme
The basic programme will consist of 3 keynote lectures and selected short oral presentations in the field of fundamental physiology and perinatal development in poultry.
After each talk a discussion on the presented results will be held in a related and open-minded atmosphere. In addition to oral presentations there will be a poster session.
Call for abstracts and size of posters will be specified in the second circular. It will include final presentation schedules, recommended accommodations, payment of registration fee, etc.
